Goal for course

The course is intended to give new crane operators theoretical and practical basic training in use of knuckle boom cranesThe course will give students a good understanding of the principles of the crane structure and functionAfter completing the course with passing theory exam, this along with passing practical operation exam, be the basic for issue of a crane operator certificate G 20 Knuckle boom cranes

Intake requirements

The student must be at least 18 years old at the beginning of the course.The student must have successfully completed:Module O-1.1 Lifting gir alternative Module 1.1 – 2.3

Target audience

The course is intended for personnel who are operating G20 crane in their work according to training plan NORSOK R-003

Final exam

After completing the course the student will conduct a written exam and a practical driving test, to prove that they have the knowledge required for approval to operate / conducting of knockle boom cranesTheory:Minimum number of questions: 30Maximum time for test: 1 hourMinimum passing rate: 80%Practice:Minimum number of questions: 3Maximum time for test: 1 hourMinimum passing rate: 80%

Diploma

A certificate will be issued to each candidate who has completed the training The certificate will contain information about the training location, course content, date of completion, the candidate's name and date of birth and be signed by the Managing Director / Course Coordinator
