S-303 - G4 Overhead crane Module 2.7 - 3.7

24 Hours


The candidate must document to have previously completed Module 1.1 and Module 2.3Alternatively, modules 1.1 and 2.3 can be carried out in context of this module

Target audience:

Personnel who in their daily work will use crane/uses cranes

Course goals:

The objectice is to provide training so that the person acquires basic theoretical knowledge about the safe use of cranes, so that accidents are avoided

Course content:

Introduction and requirements for crane operator
Area for use of bridge-/overhead cranes
Accidents with bridge-/overhead cranes
Construction of bridge-/overhead cranes
Electrical and hydraulic system
Safety switches (overload)
Maintenance and inspection
Practical use of lifting equipment
Work tasks
Driving techniques

Max students per course:

12 (practical exercise 1 instructor pr 6 candidates)

Minimum attendance to be allowed a final exam:



Theory min. 30 questionsA practical test will be thorough after the candidate in accordance with buddy program is able to document min. 40 hours practice

Course diploma/certificate:

A certificate of course completion shall be issued to each students who has successfully met the requirement of the course, The certificate shall include; PNI Training Centre AS, Course title, Date of the course, Date of birth (Student), Name of the student and signature by Managing Director


In accordance with the company internal control system


The instructor must be able to document knowledge in the subject and possess educational qualifications.
